I specialise in ancient Mediterranean art and archaeology between the 5th century BCE and the 4th century CE, with two main focuses:
- Rome, its suburbium and Latium Vetus (esp. the Alban Hill region)
- Thrace (today’s Bulgaria)
My research agenda lies at the crossroads of art history, archaeology and socio-cultural history.
